Grants to facility owners or their representatives who have identified specific peak demand reduction projects in their facilities. Reimbursement of actual project costs up to $250 per peak kilowatt saved and a bonus for savings delivered in time to help alleviate summer's peak shortage. The minimum project size is 20 kilowatts of average peak demand reduction. The maximum grant amount is $4 million.

Customers dependent on life-support equipment and those with special heating or cooling needs may be eligible to receive a "standard" Medical Baseline quantity of approximately 500 kilowatt hours (kwh) of electricity and/or 25 therms of gas per month at the lowest price.
